The following morning, Amys senses awoke to the sounds of birds chirping in the brush nearby, and the soft crackle of the smoldering ashes in the fire pit. But there was something else something that didnt belong in the area, or on the island, for that matter.
There was a low hissing that was coming closer. For a moment, Amy thought it was a snake, but it sounded like it belonged to something much bigger.
She kept lying in the same position as she was, still as possible, and eyes open wide. As she heard it draw close to her, she quickly rolled away, her adrenaline and instincts kicking in.

Amy was having one of the best dreams she hadnt had in a long time. She seemed to be lying on soft grass, feeling the suns heat above her Wait, why did the grass feel so real?
Her eyes snapped open and a large worn out backpack fell next to her head.
Its about time youre awake, Ludevecs cold and scathing voice drawled nearby. Amy scrambled upward, glancing around curiously. They were on a bank of grass, the shoreline just a few feet away from them. Behind her was a large, lush canyon.
Wha? Where are we?!
On a deserted island, Ludevec answered vaguely.

Ludevec was busy analyzing a video recording from the camera in Amys cell room on his laptop, unaware of what she was currently trying to do.
Drumming his fingers idly on the chairs armrest, he watched her open the window to let in a large black owl. Obviously it was from her friends; somehow the owl had a sixth sense as to where her location was. Hopefully, it wasnt a talking owl.
Amy then proceeded to watch a small message on a tiny screen from the owl. As he zoomed in closer, he could barely make out the blond girls face on the screen. Amy then recorded a message back. Thats when

Amys senses finally came around as the sedative wore off. The feeling of pain was the first thing that came; her body was stiff and sore all over from lying in the same position all night, and the rough cot she was lying on wasnt helping either. Eyes still closed, she noticed that everything was somewhat quiet .and cold. Someone or something that felt icy cold was touching her wrist, where she heard a soft snap and something metallic and thin fell against her skin. She attempted to say something, but her mind was not fully awake yet, and a sluggish moan crept out inst
